NAME
     ipfwcisco - compile a cisco BSD IP Filter

SYNOPSIS
     ipfwcisco [-o output] file

DESCRIPTION
     The ipfwcisco utility compiles the cisco format BSD IP Filter program
     stored in file. If output is specified by the -o option, the resulting
     filter is written into the file names output. If not specified, the fil-
     ter is written to file.filter (after stripping any .cisco suffix from
     file.)

     Line comments are introduced by the character sequence // and extend to
     the end of the line.

     A cisco format based BSD IP Fitler program consists of access-list, ac-
     cess-list-extended, access-group commands.
