DESCRIPTION
       This class implements requests according to the JSON-RPC 1.0 spec:
       http://json-rpc.org/wiki/specification <http://json-
       rpc.org/wiki/specification>.

       JSON-RPC 1.0 requests are considered notifications if the "id" is null.
