NAME
       SSL_renegotiate - Turn on flags for renegotiation so that renegotiation
       will happen

SYNOPSIS
       #include <openssl/ssl.h>

       int SSL_renegotiate(
	       SSL *s );

DESCRIPTION
       The SSL_renegotiate() function sets flags  to  initiate	renegotiation.
       The  renegotiation  may happen  at the next I/O operation provided that
       client/server are ready for renegotiation.

RETURN VALUES
       Indicates that renegotiation flags have been set	 successfully.	 Indi‐
       cates that setting renegotiation flags failed.
