STR$FIND_FIRST_SUBSTRING (OpenVMS) STR$FIND_FIRST_SUBSTRING (OpenVMS)

NAME
       strstr - find a substring

STR$FIND_FIRST_SUBSTRING - Find first substring in input string

EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX strstr function provides functionality similar to the
OpenVMS	STR$FIND_FIRST_SUBSTRING string manipulation	routine. The
strstr function takes	two arguments, a string to search and the sub‐
string to search for. It returns a pointer to the first substring or a
NULL pointer if no substring could	be found. Note that unlike
STR$FIND_FIRST_SUBSTRING, only one substring may be searched for at a
       time.
