NAME
       exec - execute a file

       SYS$CREPRC - Create process

EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX exec system call provides functionality similar to the
OpenVMS SYS$CREPRC system service. The exec system call replaces the
currently running image with the image named in the file it lists as an
argument. The exec system call allows some process attributes to stay
intact.	These are listed in the exec(2) man page.
