EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX mount system call provides functionality similar to
the OpenVMS SYS$MOUNT system service. The mount system call mounts the
entity pointed to by the data (fourth) parameter on the directory spec‐
ified by the mnt_path (second) parameter. The	file system type is
described in the type (first) parameter. The umount system call
unmounts previously mounted file systems. The mount(8)	command calls
       the mount system call.
