EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX sigaction system call is similar to the Open VMS
SYS$SETEXV system service. The sigaction system call can install a
signal handler for the SIGFPE signal. The SIGFPE signal is sent to a
process when an arithmetic exception occurs. The signal system call is
an older version of the sigaction POSIX call.
