NAME
setpriority, nice - set process priority

       SYS$SETPRI - Set process priority

EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX setpriority	system	call is similar to the OpenVMS
SYS$SETPRI system service. The setpriority call can change the	sched‐
uling priority of a process. It can also change the scheduling prior‐
ity of a process group or a single user. The default priority	is 0,
lower priorities cause the entity to be favored in the scheduling. The
nice function is provided for compatibility reasons.
