NAME
       mprotect - set access permissions of memory mapping

       SYS$SETPRT - Set protection on pages

EXPLAINATION
       The Digital UNIX mprotect system call provides functionality similar to
       the OpenVMS SYS$SETPRT system service.  The mprotect system call allows
       the calling process to modify access permissions on its memory mapping.
       The memory mapping affected is specified by the starting address and  a
       length parameter.
