NAME
plock - lock process segments in memory

SYS$SETSWM - Set process swap mode

EXPLAINATION
The Digital UNIX plock system call provides functionality similar to
the OpenVMS SYS$SETSWM system service. The plock system call	allows
the calling program to lock	the text or data segments into memory.
Locked memory cannot be swapped out. The plock system call also allow
the calling program to remove the locks by specifying UNLOCK as the
operation. The calling process must have superuser privileges to lock
       pages in memory.
