       sigsend, kill - send a signal

       SYS$WAKE - Wake process

EXPLAINATION
       The  Digital UNIX sigsend system call provides functionality similar to
       the OpenVMS SYS$WAKE system service.  The sigsend system call will wake
       a process that is blocked in a pause or sigsuspend system call (provid‐
       ing the signal is caught and the handler returns).
