NAME
       ncid-alert - send NCID call or message desktop notifications

SYNOPSIS
       ncid --no-gui --program ncid-alert
       ncid --program ncid-alert

DESCRIPTION
       The  ncid-alert output module sends NCID call and message desktop noti‐
       fications to the user via a notification daemon from the command	 line.
       It displays the Caller ID or message in the desktop noticifation.

       If you want ncid in GUI mode along with ncid-alert:
	      ncid --program ncid-alert

CONFIGURATION
       The ncid-alert output module is configured in ncid-alert.conf.

       alert_types
		 This  sets  the NCID message types ncid-alert will send.  The
		 different types are CID, OUT, HUP, BLK, WID,  MSG,  PID,  and
		 NOT.

		 Default: alert_types="CID OUT WID HUP BLK MSG PID NOT"

       alert_send
		 Alert uses the notify-send program

		 Default: alert_send="/usr/bin/notify-send"

       alert_timeout
		 Notification appearance time in milliseconds.

		 Default: alert_timeout=10000

       alert_urgency=low
		 Urgency level: low, normal, critical

		 Default: alert_urgency=low

       alert_icon
		 Application icon - name or path.

		 Default: alert_icon=call-start

REQUIREMENTS
       libnotify
       /usr/bin/notify-send

       /usr/share/ncid/ncid-alert
