NAME
     popmat - pops the transformation matrix stack

FORTRAN 77 SPECIFICATION
     subroutine popmat

PARAMETERS
     none

DESCRIPTION
     popmat pops the transformation matrix stack.  It operates on the single
     transformation stack when mmode is MSINGL, and on the ModelView matrix
     stack when mmode is MVIEWI.  It should not be called when mmode is MPROJE
     or MTEXTU.

     popmat is ignored when there is only one matrix on the stack.
