NAME
     slnr 2.3.0 — read messages in a SOUP (HDPF) packet

SYNOPSIS
     slnr

DESCRIPTION
     You are expected to unzip the contents of a SOUP packet into a directory.
     Set this directory to the current directory and run slnr.

     The following options may be set in ~/.slnrrc (called slnr.ini in non-
     UNIX environments) or in environment variables.

     editor  This refers to which editor you intend to use for writing mes‐
	     sages.

     pager   This refers to which pager (ie. `more') you wish to use for view‐
	     ing messages.

     compress
	     This is the program to be used for compressing reply packets.

     ansi    If set, this will turn on ANSI escape codes.  Terminals such as
	     cons25 will use these escape to display in colour.

     lines   You can set this to relay the number of lines supported by your
	     terminal to slnr.

     quote   This should be set to the string you wish to quote messages with.

     sigfile
	     You can set this to the file you are going to use for your signa‐
	     ture.

     repfile
	     Set this to the file you want replies to be compressed into.

     These are keys you can press to do something.

     n	     This will show the next page.

     p	     This will show the prevoius page.

     N >     This will move forward to the next newsgroup.

     P <     This will move backwards one newsgroup.

     v	     This will view an article.

     V	     This will view an article and its headers at the same time.

     m	     This will send a new email, or email in response to an article.

     w	     This will send a new newsgroup article, or a response to one.

     <space>
	     This will view the next article.

     s	     This will allow you to save an article to a file.

     S	     This will save the article without the header.

     slnr!   This will allow you to execute a command, such as `bash'.

     o	     This will show you some information about the program that cre‐
	     ated the Soup packet you are reading.

     q	     This will quit.
