NAME
       xcd - a simple CD player

SYNOPSIS
       xcd [-small ] [-linear ] [device ]

OPTIONS
       -small	   use 16x16 pixels buttons. Default button size is 31x26 pix‐
		   els

       -linear	   use a linear volume scale

       device	   the player name. Defaults to /dev/cd0c. May be overriden by
		   the CDPLAYER environmant variable.

DESCRIPTION
       Xcd  is	a  simple GUI to control a CD player. It requires Tcl/Tk to be
       installed on your system.
       Xcd  has	 the  usual  buttons  to  control   a	CD   player:   "play",
       "pause/resume",	 "stop",  "eject",  "next  track",  "previous  track",
       "rewind", "forward" and a volume slider.
       Xcd continuously displays the current track number and the elapsed time
       of  the	track.	Pressing  the  left  mouse button on the "track" label
       causes Xcd to display the total number of  the  tracks  and  the	 total
       duration	 of  the  disk.	 Pressing  the left mouse button on the "time"
       label causes Xcd to display the duration of the current track.
       You can also play a specified track by clicking with button  2  in  the
       "time" label and using the popup menu.

ENVIRONMENT
       CDPLAYER to specify which device to use. Default device is /dev/rcd0c.
