bootstring -- parameters passed to the kernel and device drivers (obsolete)

Syntax

[module.]name[=[value]]

Description

The boot variables and parameter setting syntax supported in previous releases have been changed. See the boot(ADM), boot(F), and boot(HW) manual pages.
