SIP_GUID(3SIP) SIP_GUID(3SIP) NAME sip_guid - generate a random string SYNOPSIS cc [ flag ... ] file ... -lsip [ library ... ] #include <sip.h> char *sip_guid(); DESCRIPTION The sip_guid() function can be used to generate a random string. The caller is responsible for freeing the returned string. RETURN VALUES The sip_guid() function returns a string on success and NULL on fail‐ ure. The value of errno is not changed by these calls in the event of an error.
