The SSL_alert_desc_string() returns two-letter strings indicating SSL
alerts.
The SSL_alert_desc_string_long() returns message strings about SSL
alerts.
RETURN VALUES
The SSL_alert_desc_string() function returns two-letter strings, and
the SSL_alert_desc_string_long() function returns two-word messages.
