NAME
       timer_delete  -	Deallocates  a	previously allocated per-process timer
       (P1003.1b)

SYNOPSIS
       #include <time.h>

       int timer_delete ( timer_t timerid);

       The timer ID for the timer which is to be deallocated.

DESCRIPTION
       The timer_delete function frees a per-process  timer  previously	 allo‐

       timer_delete function.

RETURN VALUES
       On a successful call, a value of 0 (zero) is returned.

       On an unsuccessful call, a value of -1 is returned and errno is set to
       indicate that an error occurred.

ERRORS
       The timer_delete function fails under the following condition: The
       timer ID specified by timerid is not a valid timer ID.
